2 Days 1 Night Kayaking and Trekking on Cat Ba Island & Lan Ha Bay and avoid the touristy area. By Kayaks you can explore the beauty of the bay and the daily life of the people. While Lan Ha Bay is more pristine with beaches, caves, lagoons, rock formation, etc. Cat Ba National Park is a great location for a trek up to a view point overlooking the bay.

Day 1: Hanoi – Cat Ba Island – Lan Ha Bay

7:00 am: Pick up from your hotel in Hanoi for a 3-hour journey through rice fields and villages to Hai Phong and travel the longest sea-crossing bridge in Southeast Asia.

10:00 am: Arrive in Bến Gót harbour on Cát Hải island and aboard the speed boat to Cat Ba Island. Following the speed boat is a lovely ride of 10 minutes through Cat Ba Island which has great views of the sea and forest on the way to Cái Viềng pier in Cat Ba town.

11:30 am: Our guide will meet you and take you to a delicious lunch of local seafood and Vietnamese dishes we will take you to Ben Beo Pier. Following a short introduction, you will board the Junk and cruise to the starting spot where we get in our kayaks and paddle through the beautiful scenery of the bay and floating villages.

16:00 am: We meet the junk and cruise back to Cat Ba Island before sunset and enjoy dinner. We transfer you to the homestay and relax and clean up before dinner at the homestaya great house hidden in a tranquil village on Cat Ba Island.

Day 2: Cat Ba Island – Hanoi
8:30 am:
After breakfast at the homestay, you will then start cycling to Cat Ba National Park and then spend 2 hours trekking through the Kim Giao Forest to the top of Ngu Lam Peak where you can see the panoramic view of Cat Ba Island a must-see for photographers. Following the hike and trek, we’ll visit Hang Quan Y (known as Army Hospital cave) an amazing man–made building in the American War 1962 which played an important role as a bomb shelter and rescue centre for locals and soldiers.

After visiting Hospital Cave we’ll head back to the homestay. time to take a shower the enjoy a Vietnamese lunch at the homestay. take time to rest at the homestay and wait for the bus back to Hanoi.

15:30 pm: Bus picks you then head back to Hanoi. The trip ends around 19:30 pm in Hanoi.
