Day 1: Hanoi – Into the Hidden World of Lan Ha Bay

07:00 – 07:30 | Hotel Pick-up – Hanoi Old Quarter
Your adventure begins with a comfortable hotel pick-up from Hanoi's Old Quarter. Relax as we travel via the modern expressway through the fertile Red River Delta, passing traditional farming villages and crossing the spectacular Tan Vu–Lach Huyen Sea Bridge, the longest sea bridge in Southeast Asia.

10:00 – 11:30 | Cat Ba Island Transfer
Arrive at Got Ferry Terminal and board a high-speed boat to Cat Ba Island. From the harbour, travel through the lush rainforest of Cat Ba National Park to Ben Beo Harbour, the gateway to Lan Ha Bay.

12:00 | Welcome Aboard
Board our traditional wooden junk boat and settle into your private cabin before cruising into the peaceful waters of Lan Ha Bay. As we pass floating fishing villages and towering limestone karsts, enjoy a freshly prepared seafood lunch featuring local Cat Ba specialties.

Afternoon | Kayaking Hidden Lagoons & Sea Caves
Launch your kayak and explore the quiet side of Lan Ha Bay. Paddle through the spectacular Dark Cave and Bright Cave (tide permitting), discover hidden lagoons surrounded by limestone cliffs, and enjoy swimming from secluded beaches only accessible by kayak. Away from the busy cruise routes, you'll experience the peaceful beauty that makes Lan Ha Bay one of Vietnam's premier kayaking destinations.

Evening | Overnight in Lan Ha Bay
As the sun sets, we anchor in a secluded bay far from the crowds. Enjoy a delicious Vietnamese dinner prepared onboard before relaxing under a canopy of stars. Spend the night in your comfortable private cabin, gently rocked to sleep by the calm waters of the bay.

Day 2: Secret Lagoons, Hidden Beaches & Viet Hai Village

Morning | Breakfast on the Bay
Wake to the peaceful sounds of Lan Ha Bay and enjoy breakfast while surrounded by towering limestone islands.

Kayaking the Hidden Corners of Lan Ha Bay
Cruise towards Dau Be Island on the quieter eastern edge of the bay. Here you'll kayak through the remarkable Ho Ba Ham (Three Tunnels Lagoon), a unique network of hidden lakes connected by natural sea caves that can only be explored at low tide. Continue to the small Ba Men Temple, a sacred place where generations of local fishermen have prayed for safe journeys at sea.

Lunch | Three Peaches Beach
Return to the boat for a freshly prepared seafood lunch before cruising to the beautiful Ba Trai Dao (Three Peaches Beach), famous for its white sand and crystal-clear water. Spend the afternoon swimming, relaxing on secluded beaches, or exploring more hidden coves by kayak.

Late Afternoon | Into Cat Ba National Park
In the afternoon we cruise to Viet Hai Harbour before leaving the boat behind. Cycle through lush rainforest and scenic mountain valleys to the peaceful village of Viet Hai, hidden deep within Cat Ba National Park and accessible only by boat, bicycle or hiking trail.

Evening | Authentic Village Life
Check into your traditional village homestay and experience genuine rural life. Enjoy a home-cooked dinner prepared with fresh vegetables and local ingredients grown by village families before relaxing in the peaceful surroundings.

Day 3: Cat Ba National Park & Return to Hanoi

Morning | Explore Cat Ba National Park
After breakfast, choose how you'd like to spend your final morning.

Option 1 – Hai Quan (Navy) Peak Trek
Join your guide for a rewarding hike to Hai Quan (Navy) Peak. This moderate trek takes around two hours and rewards you with spectacular panoramic views across Cat Ba National Park, Lan Ha Bay and the limestone islands stretching towards Ha Long Bay.

Option 2 – Village Discovery
Prefer a slower pace? Explore Viet Hai Village by foot, meet local residents, visit traditional homes, and experience the relaxed rhythm of life in one of Vietnam's most isolated communities.

Lunch | Farewell to the Island
Return to the homestay for a final home-cooked lunch before cycling back to Viet Hai Harbour. Board our boat for the journey back across Lan Ha Bay and transfer to the mainland.

Afternoon | Return to Hanoi
Travel by expressway back to Hanoi, arriving at your hotel in the early evening with unforgettable memories of Lan Ha Bay, Cat Ba National Park, and one of Vietnam's most authentic island adventures.
