Day 1: Hanoi – Cat Ba Island – Lan Ha Bay
7:00 am: Pick up from your hotel in Hanoi for the 3-hour journey by bus to Hai Phong City the largest harbour in the Red River Delta. The bus ride on the highway also brings you a good view of the rice field and local villages all the way to Cat Hai Island.
10:00 am: Arrive in Bến Gót harbour (Cát Hải island) and board a speed boat to Cat Ba island. Following the speed boat is the lovely 10-minute ride to Cái Viềng pier belonging to Cat Ba which gives you the sea and jungle views of Cat Ba National Park.
11:20 am: Arrive at Cat Ba Island where our staff will meet you then transfer you to our office at Ben Beo Pier. We will give you a quick briefing so you know what to expect from the day ahead then take the water taxi to transfer you to the Floating Homestay in Lan Ha Bay. check-in and enjoy a meal of traditional dishes served for lunch at the floating homestay.
After lunch, we paddle across Lan Ha Bay to visit Tay Keo Lagoon if the Tides permit we will take you kayaking into the Ba Do (Red Lady) Cave. and then keep kayaks back out to visit pristine beaches & peaceful lagoons. Swimming on a secluded beach. There is plenty of time for swimming or relaxing and drinking in the views on the way. When ready we paddle gently through the incredible scenery back to the floating village homestay take a shower relax at the village with a cool drink or paddle around the village.
This is a tranquil area with a beautiful natural landscape, dinner will be served at the floating homestay. Relax in the evening on deck and enjoy cold malt beverages (beer) available at the homestay.

Day 2: Lan Ha Bay – Three Tunnel Lagoon – Three peaches island
8:30 am: After breakfast, we will cruise on the junk to Đầu Bê Island, This area is part of the Bai Tu Long Bay and its highlight is Hồ Ba Hầm (Three Tunnels Lagoon and Cave) here we kayak through caves through the mountain to explore a hidden lagoon a highlight of the trip. Then we paddle to visit Đền Bà Men Temple (a sacred temple for fishermen of the region).
11:30 am: After a stop on the island and temple, we will kayak back to the junk and then cruise toward Three Peaches Beach, famous for its’ crystal clear waters and clean beaches, we drop anchor and served an authentic seafood lunch amidst the beautiful scenery of the calm emerald waters and limestone cliffs. After lunch, we will do more kayaking around the area and find private beaches for swimming and relaxing.
14:00 pm: After lunch, we get back in the Kayaks we explore the bay finding quiet beaches and travelling to lagoons and points of interest.
16:30 pm: We kayak back to the junk we get on board and settle in for an afternoon cruise to Dam Ong Cam across the bay where we drop anchor and have time to relax on deck, take a swim and have a shower before dinner. This is a tranquil area with a beautiful natural landscape, dinner will be served onboard the junk. Relax in the evening on deck and enjoy cold malt beverages (beer & wine) available on board.

Day 3 Lan Ha Bay – Viet Hai village
8:30 am: After breakfast on board, we will cruise on the junk to Cat Ba National Park Pier and get ready to explore. We transfer your luggage as we get on mountain bikes and cycle to Viet Hai Village in the middle of the national park. Here the nice roads and easy hills make for a lovely introduction to the park.
10:00 am: Today we will explore the beauty of Cat Ba Island, and experience the majesty of the national park. You can choose whether to relax in the village and experience the rural lifestyle, or head out on a trek through the forest. This more energetic option will reward you with breathtaking views over Halong Bay, and some stellar photo opportunities of the rain forest. Vietnamese lunch in a homestay.
Following lunch, we will cycle back to the quay and our water taxi will pick us up and Toward Cat Ba town before sunset. On the way back to Ben Beo pier you can choose to do swimming or visit the floating farms.
16:00 pm: Arrives at Ben Beo pier, our shuttle car will pick you up and then transfer you to Cat Ba Blue Lagoon Homestay. check-in, take a shower and have dinner. Overnight at Cat Ba Blue Lagoon Homestay.

Day 4: Cat Ba National Park – Hanoi
8:30 am: After breakfast, we pick you up and van transfer you to Cat Ba national park for the day, trek to the top of Ngu Lam Peak offering a great view of the whole island and over the bay. Following the trek, we’ll visit Hang Quan Y(known as Army Hospital cave)- an amazing man–made building in the American War 1962 which played an important role as a bomb shelter and rescue centre for locals and soldiers. After visiting Hospital Cave we’ll head back to the Cat Ba Blue Lagoon Homestay with time for a shower before check out.
14:00 pm: We have a Vietnamese lunch late at the homestay and have time to relax for a while.
15:30 pm: Bus pick you then head back to Hanoi. The trip ends around 19:30 pm in Hanoi.

7:00 am: Pick up from your hotel in Hanoi for the 3-hour journey by bus to Hai Phong City the largest harbour in the Red River Delta. The bus ride on the highway also brings you a good view of the rice field and local villages all the way to Cat Hai Island.
10:00 am: Arrive in Bến Gót harbour and board the speed boat to Cat Ba Island. Upon arrival, we transfer to the bus for a lovely road on the island for about 10 minutes to Cái Viềng pier in Cat Ba Town
11:20 am: Arrive at Cat Ba Island where our staff will meet you then transfer you to our office at Ben Beo Pier. Following a short introduction, you will board the water taxi in and make your way to the Floating Village Homestay, home to many families then anchor in a quiet lagoon on Lan Ha Bay, a Vietnamese seafood lunch will be served at the floating homestay.
After lunch, we paddle across Lan Ha Bay to visit Tay Keo Lagoon if the Tides permit we will take you kayaking into the Ba Do (Red Lady) Cave. and then keep kayaks back out to visit pristine beaches & peaceful lagoons. 8:30 am: After breakfast at the homestay we take the water taxi and transfer you to Cat Ba National Park pier. Here we start cycling to Viet Hai Village inside the national park, Don’t worry, it’s not too challenging, once we arrive you can choose to wander around the village and meet the locals, or take a two-hour trek up into the stunning national park. The effort of the trek to the mountain top is well worth the effort giving a fantastic panoramic view of the Bay and Lan Ha bay, A great spot for photographs of the bay. After we trek back down the mountains through the forest we stop at the village for a Vietnamese lunch. Following lunch, we will cycle back to the quay and our water taxi will transfer us back to the floating village. On the way back to the village you can choose to go swimming or visit the floating fish and pearl farms.

In the afternoon we kayak back to the Junk and continue our journey to Dam Ong Cam (opposite Ha Long Bay) to anchor for the night. This is a tranquil area with a beautiful natural landscape, dinner will be served onboard the junk. Relax in the evening on deck and enjoy cold malt beverages (beer) available on board.

Day 3: Cat Ba Island – Hanoi
8:30 am: Enjoy breakfast as we cruise on the junk. Today we will explore the beauty of Cat Ba Island, and experience the majesty of Viet Hai National Park. A cycle ride through the achingly beautiful forests and mountains will bring you to the National Park, which covers 50% of the island. You can choose whether to relax in the village and experience the rural lifestyle, or head out on a two-hour trek. This more energetic option will reward you with breathtaking views over Halong Bay and Lan Ha Bay, and some stellar photo opportunities.
Lunch will be served at a local restaurant. Following lunch, we will return to the quay by bike and get back on board and cruise Ben Beo Pier in time to catch the bus back to Hanoi. The Trip ends around 19:30 pm.

In the afternoon we kayak back to the Junk and continue our journey to Dam Ong Cam (opposite Ha Long Bay) to anchor for the night. 8:30 am: After breakfast, we will cruise on the junk to Đầu Bê Island, This area is part of the Bai Tu Long Bay and its highlight is Hồ Ba Hầm (Three Tunnels Lagoon and Cave) here we kayak through caves through the mountain to explore a hidden lagoon. then paddle to visit Đền Bà Men Temple (a sacred temple for fishermen of the region).

8:30 am: After breakfast, we will cruise on the junk to Lan Ha Bay and get back in the kayaks to visit Tay Keo Lagoon. If Tides permit we kayak into the Ba Do cave and paddle back out to visit beaches, floating pearl farms & peaceful lagoons as we kayak back to Junk.
11:30 am: We drop anchor and served an authentic seafood lunch amidst the beautiful scenery of the calm emerald waters and limestone cliffs. After lunch, we will do more kayaking around the area and find private beaches for swimming and relaxing.
15:00 pm: In the afternoon we cruise to Viet Hai Peir and cycle to Viet Hai Village Homestay, we have time to relax and clean up before dinner we take dinner at the homestay, relax in the peaceful environment to have a cold drink or beer or wander around the village at the edge of the forest.

This more energetic option will reward you with breathtaking views over Halong Bay and Lan Ha Bay, and some stellar photo opportunities.
Lunch will be served at Homestay. Following lunch, we will return to the quay by bike and get back aboard the boat to cruise to Ben Beo Pier in time to catch the bus back to Hanoi. The trip ends around 19:30 pm.

Day 1: Hanoi – Bac Kan – Cho Ra – Ba Be National Park
07.30 Our tour guide and driver will pick you up at your hotel. We drive north to Ba Be National Park via Highway 3. Make a short stop in Thai Nguyen City for refreshment. Continue heading north to Bac Can City for lunch in a local restaurant. After lunch, we drive straight to Ba Be.
14.00 We arrive in Boc Luom, a river dock where we begin our beautiful downstream paddling trip along Nang River. The river runs though the giant Puong Cave before it flows into Ba Be Lake, one of the 100 biggest natural freshwater lakes in the world. Upon arrival in Be Be Dock we will walk to a village of Nung ethnic minority where will spend our night in a home-stay. Dinner at the home stay.

Day 2: An Ma Temple – Ao Tien Lake – Dau Dang Waterfall
Get up and have breakfast at the home-stay. Today we will paddle across the lake to An Ma island where we visit to An Ma Temple. Continue paddling Ao Tien, a small secluded small lake that we have around 10mins to get to the lake. We will have a picnic lunch by the lake. After lunch, we paddle to Dau Dang Waterfall. Spend sometime to relax after a long paddling day at the waterfall. Take support boat back to the village of overnight and dinner.

7:00 am: Pick up from your hotel in Hanoi for the 3-hour journey by bus to Hai Phong City the largest harbour in the Red River Delta. The bus ride on the highway also brings you a good view of the rice field and local villages all the way to Cat Hai Island.
10:00 am: Arrive in Bến Gót harbour and board the speed boat to Cat Ba Island. Upon arrival, we transfer to the bus for a lovely road on the island for about 10 minutes to Cái Viềng pier in Cat Ba Town
11:20 am: Arrive at Cat Ba Island where our staff will meet you then transfer you to our office at Ben Beo Pier. Following a short introduction, you will board the Junk and cruise in style around the unique floating villages, home to many families then anchor in a quiet lagoon on Lan Ha Bay, a delicious lunch will be served on the junk.
After a delicious welcome lunch, we will keep cruising to Áng Vạn Tà (known as Dark Cave and Bat Cave). We kayak through the beautiful scenery of the bay and will be able to paddle right into Dark Cave and Bat Cave (if the tide permits). Day 4: Cat Ba National Park – Hanoi
8:30 am: After breakfast, we pick you up and van transfer you to Cat Ba national park for the day, trek to the top of Ngu Lam Peak offering a great view of the whole island and over the bay. Following the trek, we’ll visit Hang Quan Y(known as Army Hospital cave)- an amazing man–made building in the American War 1962 which played an important role as a bomb shelter and rescue centre for locals and soldiers.
After visiting Hospital Cave we’ll head back to the Cat Ba Ecolodge with time for a shower before check out.
14:00 pm: We have a Vietnamese lunch late at the homestay and have time to relax for a while.
15:30 pm: Bus pick you then head back to Hanoi. The trip ends around 19:30 pm in Hanoi.

Our two-day itinerary takes you to Cat Ba Island & Lan Ha Bay to enjoy kayaking explore the real beauty of the bay and lagoons Overnight on Junk. Kayaking on Lan Hai Bay is an experience like no other take the bay at your own pace and explore where you want to go. Trek through Cat Ba National Park.

Day 1: Hanoi – Cat Ba Island – Lan Ha Bay
7:00 am: Pick up from your hotel in Hanoi for the 3-hour journey by bus to Hai Phong City the largest harbour in the Red River Delta. The bus ride on the highway also brings you a good view of the rice field and local villages all the way to Cat Hai Island.
10:00 am: Arrive in Bến Gót harbour (Cát Hải island) and board a speed boat to Cat Ba island. Following the speed boat is the lovely 10-minute ride to Cái Viềng pier belonging to Cat Ba which gives you the sea and jungle views of Cat Ba National Park.
11:20 am: Arrive at Cat Ba Island where our staff will meet you then transfer you to our office at Ben Beo Pier.
Following a short introduction, you will board a Junk and cruise in style around the unique floating villages, home to many fishermen and floating farms. Anchor in the centre of Lan Ha Bay, enjoy a delicious lunch will be served on the junk.
After lunch, we will keep cruising to Áng Vạn T, we kayak through the beautiful scenery of the bay and will be able to paddle right into Dark Cave and Bat Cave (if the tide permits). Kayaking around the lagoon that is only accessible through the cave to enjoy the beautiful scenery, natural environment and fresh air. In the afternoon we kayak back to the Junk and continue our journey to Dam Ong Cam (opposite Ha Long Bay) to anchor for the night. This is a tranquil area with a beautiful natural landscape, dinner will be served onboard the junk. Relax in the evening on deck and enjoy cold malt beverages (beer) available on board.

Day 2: Lan Ha Bay – Cat Ba Nation Park – Hanoi
8:30 am: After breakfast on board, we will cruise on the junk to Cat Ba National Park Pier and get ready to explore. We transfer your luggage as we get on mountain bikes and cycle to Viet Hai Village in the middle of the national park. Here the nice roads and easy hills make for a lovely introduction to the park.
10:00 am: Today we will explore the beauty of Cat Ba Island, and experience the majesty of the national park. You can choose whether to relax in the village and experience the rural lifestyle, or head out on a trek through the forest. This more energetic option will reward you with breathtaking views over Halong Bay, and some stellar photo opportunities of the rain forest. Vietnamese lunch in a homestay. Following lunch, we will cycle back to Cat Ba Town in time to catch the bus back to Hanoi. The trip ends around 19:30 in Hanoi.
