Day 1: Hanoi – Cat Ba Island – Lan Ha Bay
7:00 am: Pick up from your hotel in Hanoi for the 3-hour journey by bus to Hai Phong City the largest harbour in the Red River Delta. The bus ride on the highway also brings you a good view of the rice fields and local villages along the way to Cat Hai Island.
10:00 am: Arrive in Bến Gót harbor (Cát Hải island) and board a speed boat to Cat Ba island. Following the speed boat is the lovely 10-minute ride to Cái Viềng pier belonging to Cat Ba which gives you the sea and jungle views of Cat Ba National Park.
11:20 am: Arrive at Cat Ba Island where our staff will meet you then transfer you to our office at Ben Beo Pier. We get on a boat are head out to the Floating Village Homestay where we have a Vietnamese Lunch. After lunch, we spend the afternoon kayaking through the beautiful scenery of the bay, and if the tides permit, will be able to paddle into Dark Cave and Bat Cave. kayaking around the lagoon behind the cave to enjoy the beautiful scenery and secluded beaches for swimming. Following these activities, we kayak back to the Floating Village. A fresh Vietnamese dinner will be served on board.

Day 2 Lan Ha Bay – Cat Ba National Park – Viet Hai Village
8:30 am: After breakfast, we will cruise on the junk to Đầu Bê Island, This area is part of the Bai Tu Long Bay and its highlight is Hồ Ba Hầm (Three Tunnels Lagoon and Cave) here we kayak through caves through the mountain to explore a hidden lagoon. then paddle to visit Đền Bà Men Temple (a sacred temple for fishermen of the region).
11:30 am: After a stop on the island and temple, we will kayak back to the boat and then cruise toward Three Peaches Beach, famous for its’ crystal clear waters and clean beaches, we drop anchor and served an authentic seafood lunch amidst the beautiful scenery of the calm emerald waters and limestone cliffs. After lunch, we will do more kayaking around the area and find private beaches for swimming and relaxing.
16:30 pm: In the afternoon we cruise back to Cat Ba Town, once we arrive at the pier we transfer you to Cat Ba Blue Lagoon Home Stay. We can choose to wander around and meet the locals or relax with a cold beer before dinner with the family at the homestay.

Day 3: Viet Hai village – Trek – Cat Ba National Park – Hanoi
8:30 am: After breakfast, we transfer you to Cat Ba National Park take a two-hour trek up to Hai Quan Peak a stunning peak in the national park. The effort of the walk is well worth it when you see the fantastic panoramic views of Halong Bay and Lan Ha Bay. Photographic opportunities abound!
Following the hike and trek, we’ll visit Hang Quan Y (known as Army Hospital cave)- an amazing man-made building in the American war 1962 that played an important role as a bomb shelter and rescue center for locals and soldiers.
11:30 am: Lunch will be served at Homestay. Following lunch and some time to relax, we catch the bus back to Hanoi. The trip ends around 19:30 pm. in Hanoi

You can choose whether to relax in the village and experience the rural lifestyle, or head out on a two-hour trek. Lunch will be served at the homestay. Following lunch, we will go biking return to the harbor, and get aboard back to Ben Beo Pier in time to catch the bus back to Hanoi. The trip ends around 19:30.
2: Kayaking Lan Ha Bay and Fishing village, swimming.
-Check out of LÂN Homestay then cycle back to Việt Hải harbor, transfer to the middle of Lan Ha Bay, and paddle across Lan Ha Bay to visit Tay Keo Lagoon.
If Tides permit, we will take you kayaking into the Ba Do cave (Red Lady) and then keep kayaks back out to visit pristine beaches, floating farms & peaceful lagoons.

8:30 am: After breakfast on board, we will cruise on the junk to Cat Ba National Park Pier and get ready to explore. We transfer your luggage as we get on mountain bikes and cycle to Viet Hai Village in the middle of the national park. Here the nice roads and easy hills make for a lovely introduction to the park.
10:00 am: Today we will explore the beauty of Cat Ba Island, and experience the majesty of the national park. You can choose whether to relax in the village and experience the rural lifestyle, or head out on a trek through the forest. This more energetic option will reward you with breathtaking views over Halong Bay, and some stellar photo opportunities of the rain forest. Vietnamese lunch in a homestay.
Following lunch, we will cycle back to the quay and our water taxi will pick us up and Toward Cat Ba town before sunset. On the way back to Ben Beo pier you can choose to do swimming or visit the floating farms.

8:30 am: After breakfast, we will cruise on the junk to Đầu Bê Island, This area is part of the Bai Tu Long Bay and its highlight is Hồ Ba Hầm (Three Tunnels Lagoon and Cave) here we kayak through caves through the mountain to explore a hidden lagoon a highlight of the trip. Then we paddle to visit Đền Bà Men Temple (a sacred temple for fishermen of the region).
11:30 am: After a stop on the island and temple, we will kayak back to the junk and then cruise toward Three Peaches Beach, famous for its’ crystal clear waters and clean beaches, we drop anchor and served an authentic seafood lunch amidst the beautiful scenery of the calm emerald waters and limestone cliffs. After lunch, we will do more kayaking around the area and find private beaches for swimming and relaxing.
13:30 am: After lunch on the junk we can go kayaking or swimming off the junk, later in the afternoon we cruise back to Ben Beo Pier on Cat Ba Island in time to catch the bus back to Hanoi. The trip ends around 19:30 in Hanoi.

two days of kayaking and one day of trekking will take you to Cat Ba Island & Lan Ha Bay to enjoy the beauty of Cat Ba National Park and avoid the touristy area. By kayak, we will explore the hidden lagoons caves and floating villages on the bay. Lan Ha Bay is more pristine with beaches, caves, lagoons, and rock formations. Day 1: Hanoi – Cat Ba Island – Lan Ha Bay
7:00 am: Pick up from your hotel in Hanoi for the 3-hour journey by bus to Hai Phong City the largest harbour in the Red River Delta. The bus ride on the highway also brings you a good view of the rice field and local villages all the way to Cat Hai Island.
10:00 am: Arrive in Bến Gót harbour and board the speed boat to Cat Ba Island. Upon arrival, we transfer to the bus for a lovely road on the island for about 10 minutes to Cái Viềng pier in Cat Ba Town
11:20 am: Arrive at Cat Ba Island where our staff will meet you then transfer you to our office at Ben Beo Pier. Following a short introduction, you will board the water taxi in and make your way to the Floating Village Homestay, home to many families then anchor in a quiet lagoon on Lan Ha Bay, a Vietnamese seafood lunch will be served at the floating homestay.
After lunch, we paddle across Lan Ha Bay to visit Tay Keo Lagoon if the Tides permit we will take you kayaking into the Ba Do (Red Lady) Cave. and then keep kayaks back out to visit pristine beaches & peaceful lagoons. Swimming on a secluded beach. There is plenty of time for swimming or relaxing and drinking in the views on the way. When ready we paddle gently through the incredible scenery back to the floating village homestay take a shower relax at the village with a cool drink or paddle around the village.
This is a tranquil area with a beautiful natural landscape, dinner will be served at the floating homestay. Relax in the evening on deck and enjoy cold malt beverages (beer) available at the homestay.

Day 2: Lan Ha Bay – Cat Ba National Park
8:30 am: After breakfast at the homestay we take the water taxi and transfer you to Cat Ba National Park pier. Here we start cycling to Viet Hai Village inside the national park, Don’t worry, it’s not too challenging, once we arrive you can choose to wander around the village and meet the locals, or take a two-hour trek up into the stunning national park. The effort of the trek to the mountain top is well worth the effort giving a fantastic panoramic view of the Bay and Lan Ha bay, A great spot for photographs of the bay. After we trek back down the mountains through the forest we stop at the village for a Vietnamese lunch. Following lunch, we will cycle back to the quay and our water taxi will transfer us back to the floating village. On the way back to the village you can choose to go swimming or visit the floating fish and pearl farms.

In the afternoon we kayak back to the Junk and continue our journey to Dam Ong Cam (opposite Ha Long Bay) to anchor for the night. This is a tranquil area with a beautiful natural landscape, dinner will be served onboard the junk. Relax in the evening on deck and enjoy cold malt beverages (beer) available on board.

8:30 am: Enjoy breakfast as we cruise on the junk. Today we will explore the beauty of Cat Ba Island, and experience the majesty of Viet Hai National Park. A cycle ride through the achingly beautiful forests and mountains will bring you to the National Park, which covers 50% of the island. You can choose whether to relax in the village and experience the rural lifestyle, or head out on a two-hour trek. This more energetic option will reward you with breathtaking views over Halong Bay and Lan Ha Bay, and some stellar photo opportunities.
Lunch will be served at a local restaurant. Following lunch, we will return to the quay by bike and get back on board and cruise Ben Beo Pier in time to catch the bus back to Hanoi. The Trip ends around 19:30 pm.

8:00 am: Pick you up at your hotel in Cat Ba Town and transfer to Ben Beo pier to board the junk.
8:30 am: Get settled in and cruise out to our neighbourhood floating village and Lan Ha Bay. Witness the everyday life of local fishermen. We will keep cruising out of Lan Ha Bay to Áng Vạn Tà (known as Dark Cave and Bat Cave).
After learning basics and paddling routes from your certified kayaking guide, you will get in the kayaks and start paddling through the beautiful scenery of the bay and if tide permitting, will be able to paddle right into Dark Cave and Bat Cave. Kayaking around the lagoon behind the cave to enjoy the beautiful scenery and fresh air.
11:30 am: We kayak back to the junk and then cruise toward Three Peaches Beach which is famous for its crystal waters. We anchor we serve an authentic Vietnamese seafood lunch amidst the beautiful natural scenery. After lunch, we can relax and swim on secluded beaches.
13:30 pm: After lunch. We will Cruise back to the centre of Lan Ha Bay to spend the afternoon kayaking to visit the bay. We travel by Kayak and visit floating villages, where many fishermen and their families live and work. We Kayak into the Tay Kéo lagoon and if Tides permit we will take you kayaking into the Ba Do cave (Red Lady) stopping at pristine beaches for swimming and exploring. later in the afternoon, we will kayak back to the junk and cruise to Ben Beo pier.
17:00 pm: Arrive in Ben Beo, van transfer back to your hotel in Cat Ba Town.
