This tour’s itinerary takes you to Cat Ba Island & Lan Ha Bay to enjoy the beauty of Cat Ba Island National Park. You can explore the authentic beauty of the bay and the daily life of people. Overnight on Floating Village and village homestay. Cat Ba Island is home to a wide range of ecosystems that is great to explore by kayak, crusing and trekking.

Day 1: Hanoi – Cat Ba Island – Lan Ha Bay
7:00 am: Pick up from your hotel in Hanoi for the 3-hour journey by bus to Hai Phong City the largest harbour in the Red River Delta. The bus ride on the highway also brings you a good view of the rice fields and local villages along the way to Cat Hai Island.
10:00 am: Arrive in Bến Gót harbor (Cát Hải island) and board a speed boat to Cat Ba island. Following the speed boat is the lovely 10-minute ride to Cái Viềng pier belonging to Cat Ba which gives you the sea and jungle views of Cat Ba National Park.
11:20 am: Arrive at Cat Ba Island where our staff will meet you then transfer you to our office at Ben Beo Pier. We get on a boat are head out to the Floating Village Homestay where we have a Vietnamese Lunch. After lunch, we spend the afternoon kayaking through the beautiful scenery of the bay, and if the tides permit, will be able to paddle into Dark Cave and Bat Cave. kayaking around the lagoon behind the cave to enjoy the beautiful scenery and secluded beaches for swimming. Following these activities, we kayak back to the Floating Village. A fresh Vietnamese dinner will be served on board.

Day 2 Lan Ha Bay – Cat Ba National Park – Viet Hai Village
8:30 am: After breakfast, we will cruise on the junk to Đầu Bê Island, This area is part of the Bai Tu Long Bay and its highlight is Hồ Ba Hầm (Three Tunnels Lagoon and Cave) here we kayak through caves through the mountain to explore a hidden lagoon. then paddle to visit Đền Bà Men Temple (a sacred temple for fishermen of the region).
11:30 am: After a stop on the island and temple, we will kayak back to the boat and then cruise toward Three Peaches Beach, famous for its’ crystal clear waters and clean beaches, we drop anchor and served an authentic seafood lunch amidst the beautiful scenery of the calm emerald waters and limestone cliffs. After lunch, we will do more kayaking around the area and find private beaches for swimming and relaxing.
16:30 pm: In the afternoon we cruise back to Cat Ba Town, once we arrive at the pier we transfer you to Cat Ba Blue Lagoon Home Stay. We can choose to wander around and meet the locals or relax with a cold beer before dinner with the family at the homestay.

Day 3: Viet Hai village – Trek – Cat Ba National Park – Hanoi
8:30 am: After breakfast, we transfer you to Cat Ba National Park take a two-hour trek up to Hai Quan Peak a stunning peak in the national park. The effort of the walk is well worth it when you see the fantastic panoramic views of Halong Bay and Lan Ha Bay. Photographic opportunities abound!
Following the hike and trek, we’ll visit Hang Quan Y (known as Army Hospital cave)- an amazing man-made building in the American war 1962 that played an important role as a bomb shelter and rescue center for locals and soldiers.
11:30 am: Lunch will be served at Homestay. Following lunch and some time to relax, we catch the bus back to Hanoi. The trip ends around 19:30 pm. in Hanoi

Two days of trekking and kayaking we explore Cat Ba National Park and Lan Ha Bay. We explore the hidden lagoons caves and floating villages on the bay, pristine beaches, caves, lagoons, and rock formations. Overnight in a homestay at the floating village is an amazing way to experience life on the water.

Day 1: Hanoi – Cat Ba Island – Lan Ha Bay
8:00 am: Pick you up at your hotel in Cat Ba Town and transfer to the entrance of Cat Ba National Park.
8:30 am: We start trekking Following the mountain path across Cat Ba Biosphere Reserve to get to Viet Hai village.
12:30 am: In Viet Hai village we stop at the Whispering Nature Restaurant for an authentic Vietnamese seafood lunch amidst the beautiful natural scenery.
13:30 pm: After lunch, you have the option of walking around and enjoying village life or taking a two-hour hike up into the stunning National Park for some great panoramic views and photograph opportunities of Ha Long Bay.
15:30 pm: Trekking From Viet Hai village out to Viet Hai quay we catch the boat back and make your way to the Floating Village Homestay, home to many families then anchor in a quiet lagoon on Lan Ha Bay, a Vietnamese seafood lunch will be served at the floating homestay.
This is a tranquil area with a beautiful natural landscape, dinner will be served at the floating homestay. Relax in the evening on deck and enjoy cold malt beverages (beer) available at the homestay.

Day 2 Lan Ha Bay kayaking – Cat Ba Island

Day 1: Cat Ba National park – Trekking and Biking
8:00 am: We pick you up at your hotel and transfer to the entrance gate of Cat Ba National Park
8:30 am: We start our day trekking, following jungle paths through Cat Ba Biosphere Reserve on our way to Viet Hai Village in the middle of the park.
12:30 pm: Have a stop for lunch at Whispering Nature, a locally run restaurant inside the park.
13:30pm: After lunch, we have the option of walking around and enjoying village life or taking a two-hour trek through the national park for some panoramic views of the bay, a must for photographers. After some time at the peak, we make our way down the jungle path back to Viet Hai Village.
15:30 pm: At the village, we get on our mountain bikes and start cycling out to Viet Hai Quay to catch the water taxi back to Ben Beo Peir. The boat ride is also the highlight in the afternoon with a break at a local floating village and fish farm along the way.
17:00 pm: Arrive at Ben Beo pier, our minivan transfers you back to Your Hotel, end of the services.
